Why Are You More Expensive Than My Domain Registrar?
You are right that my annual fee is more expensive than if you were to renew your domain yourself. My clients that choose this package value the security and headspace that comes with not having to worry about renewals, DNS record changes or if their registrar accounts are secured properly.
Does It Matter Where The Name Servers That My Website Uses Are?
Whilst this is not a large determining factor in a websites performance, small optimisations like localised name servers can help when combined with other improvements. If a visitor in the UK requests your website, and the name servers set by your current registrar are located in the United States, that users request must first query the name server located in the U.S. to find where the actual server that the site is hosted on is located. This increases the time to serve the content to the users on the requesting device end.
Do You Offer Pay Monthly Plans For Domain Management?
Unfortunately not. Because domains are registered for a minimum of 12 months at a time and are non refundable I am unable to offer a spread cost for domain management.
